Applelec is pleased to announce the introduction of LumiStone and LumiSorb, two new architectural systems developed through the launch of Applelec Interiors, the company’s dedicated division for illuminated architectural surfaces.
These additions expand Applelec’s growing portfolio of collaborative design-led systems, joining the existing partnership with Parametric Walls to provide architects and designers with new ways to integrate material, light and spatial atmosphere within interior environments.
Together, these systems demonstrate Applelec’s continued commitment to combining innovative design partnerships with engineered illumination.

LumiStone – Illuminated Printed Stone
LumiStone introduces illuminated printed stone as a decorative architectural surface supplied as a complete illuminated solution.
Designed to enhance the visual depth and character of stone-inspired patterns, LumiStone enables designers to create striking reception desks, hospitality features and architectural walls where material expression and light work together to shape atmosphere.
The system provides consistent pattern clarity and controlled illumination, helping designers achieve refined visual outcomes across commercial, hospitality and residential interiors.

LumiSorb – Illuminated Acoustic Panels
Also joining the range is LumiSorb, an architectural panel system that combines Class C sound absorption with integrated illumination.
Developed in collaboration with acou.space, LumiSorb addresses the growing demand for interiors that balance acoustic comfort with visual design. The system helps reduce reverberation while introducing soft architectural lighting, making it particularly suited to workplaces, meeting rooms, hospitality environments and neuroinclusive spaces.
Designed by acou.space and illuminated by Applelec Light Engines, LumiSorb integrates acoustic performance and lighting into a single cohesive architectural element.

Continuing Collaboration with Parametric Walls
The introduction of LumiStone and LumiSorb further strengthens Applelec’s collaborative design approach.
They join Parametric Walls, designed by M|R Walls, which transform architectural surfaces into sculptural installations using algorithmic geometry and integrated illumination.
These systems are manufactured in the UK by Parametric Walls and illuminated by Applelec Light Engines, combining advanced design with precision manufacturing and reliable lighting integration.

Illuminated by Applelec Light Engines
Across all three systems, illumination is delivered using Applelec’s bespoke Light Engines, developed to provide safe, reliable and energy-efficient performance for architectural applications.
Manufactured in Britain, Applelec Light Engines are trusted by designers and specifiers for their:
consistent light output and uniform diffusion
long-term reliability
energy-efficient performance
safe integration within architectural materials
This engineering expertise allows Applelec to support designers in delivering complex illuminated features with confidence.
